Our mission is to help bring emotional awareness to youth through the local area school district by means of education on how to handle anxiety, depressive episodes, hopelessness and helplessness.

We are here to help educate young people on emotional awareness and anxiety. To help them understand that it's ok to need help.

Hannah Palmer, Miss Lighthouse Coast 2020, has chosen her platform to be Mental Health First Aid. A course that teaches participants the signs, symptoms and warning signs of a mental health crisis and has asked to join the Carl Nagy Foundation to combine our efforts to help raise awareness on mental and emotional health.
The goal is to get at least 60 Brighton Area Schools staff members certified in Mental Health First Aid. This course teaches participants the signs, symptoms, warning signs and how to respond to a mental health crisis in our children while they are at school.
